ABIDE Prayer: God’s Awe-Inspiring Work
The purpose of ABIDE is to seek God through prayer, rely on the Spirit as we gather together, and pray with unity and purpose. ABIDE prayers are Scripture-led and Spirit-focused prayers.
Let the whole earth shout joyfully to God! Sing about the glory of his name; make his praise glorious. Say to God, “How awe-inspiring are your works! Your enemies will cringe before you because of your great strength.” (Psalm 66:1-3)
God is awesome and His work in our lives, families, church and nation is powerful! The enemy is completely defeated by God and cringes because of God’s great strength! As God’s sons and daughters, we can be confident that our Heavenly Father wants us to experience His power over the enemy in our lives.
Our focus for today’s ABIDE is on the “Awe-Inspiring Work” of God in our lives. God is awesome and He has done, is doing and will do “awe-inspiring” works in our lives, families, church and community.
